Airaid Throttle Spacer?

Anyone out there use one? I am interested in any issues/results. I heard the spacer really helps the low end at low RPM's. Also that mileage improves anywhere from 1-3 mpg.

throttle body spacers are best used as an expensive paper-weight. All you'll get from one is an annoying whistle.

My mileage didnt' even go up by 1 mpg & that whistling noise is a pain. I think the real reason people say they get better mileage is that they don't get into the throttle as much because every time you do it whistles & it is very annoying. If you're not in the throttle as much then of course you are going to get better mileage. Just my 2 cents worth!
Oh by the way I bought one & now I have a nice shiny orange paper weight too

They make nice trot-line weights, just in case you do more fishin' than paperwork..
