Straight pipe or glasspack newer f150
Straight pipe or imco newer f150
I have a 2004 5.4L 3v. I had a magnaflow si/so, but it was not nearly loud or aggressive enough for me. So now I have it straight piped. I like the sound a lot better, it is loud and aggressive. Do you guys think I should put a cherry bomb (glasspack) or imco extreme muffler on instead of the straight pipe. What will be the sound difference.
Thanks for any help.
Also I will probably be selling my magnaflow catback system, its in good shape, used it for only a month or so.

There was a kid at my school that is running strait pipes on his 98 F150 4.6. I have a 97 f150 4.6 with the IMCO extreme muffler. Mine had more of a deep rumble and doesn't pop like a glass pack does. My other buddy had a glass pack on his 2000 5.4 and my IMCO extreme was louder. He ended up taking out the glass pack and putting in the same muffler.

Yea pretty much. It sounds real good! The kid with the strait pipes might be a little louder but mine is much deeper and more rumbly. My buddy with the 5.4 that now has the same muffler sounds sweet now. I would highly recomend it!

Hes running exact same set up as me. si/do 2.5" in and dual 2.25" out. Let me know if you have any other questions. After he heard mine he had me buy one for him and another friend had me get one for his 95' chev. This is where I got them all from. http://www.fle-online.com/index.asp
Are you running y-pipe straight pipes? Or a just a straight pipe in place of the stock muffler?
Put on true-dual straight pipes (with an x-pipe if you'd like). It'll be a lot louder/meaner. I love how people turn their heads when I go by.
