best setup

Hey, i am new to this message board, but it looked really awesome so i joined. I have a 1984 f150, it is totally stock, I want to put on a true dual exhaust system, i found some side pipes on JCWhitney.com. I also plan on installing flowmaster 50 series delta flow mufflers. How would this sound? My truck has a 302 V8 with a 4-speed stick shift. It also has a carb, I really love it, if anyone has any ideas on how to make it faster that would be great, thanks again for anyone who posts in response, this site is awesome!

Welcome to the site! 50 series Deltas will be ok, a little bit quiet in my book though, but will still sound good and be heard well. I like the 40 series mufflers alot, especially the Super 40 & 44s, True Dual system definatly the way to go, and may I suggest high flow cats

when are they quiet, cuz i dont want it to be totally loud at cursing speeds, just a low rumble, however a rumble that is noticeable. However when i step on it, i want a nice agressive roar, but not neccecerily a loud raspy roar, thanks for the reply by the way.

definitely go with one of the 40 series mufflers or super 44s. 50 series you will not hear at all cruising on the highway, and its more of a mellow rumble on acceleration and not as agresive. im installing a super44 SIDO system on my 2004 f150 this weekend.
