k&n filter vs cold air intake system

Ive got a k&n air filter in my truck right now, would it be a waste of money if i changed that and put in a cold air intake system?

NOPE...did the same thing. Just got the truck last month...two weeks ago replaced the stock filter element with a K&N ($33). Already had a K&N Series 77 kit delivered and waiting installation this weekend.......
