OBX headers

I've never heard of OBX,but your the pic on from the e-bay link looks like you get everything, headers, cats Y pipe and hardware, its a great looking exhaust kit and for $449.00,wow!I've seen other long tube header kits start @ $1000.00 and go up from there.Good luck on your headers.

do a search, there is a guy on the svt peformance that a set for his lighting and they work great, same design as the dynatech long tubes. I am looking to scoop up a set and replace the resonators with high flow cats

Looking for More Input

I, like many of you, have come face to face with the dreaded exhaust manifold leak. I am looking at the OBX full length header kit mentioned here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-9...QQcmdZViewItem
What I want to know is how many of you are using these headers?
Are the cats included or are those resonators instead?
How big of a PITA are they to install yourself in the driveway?

Thanks for all responses

I had an OBX long tube header, high flow cat and 2.5 inch piping all the way back on my 2001 Hyundai Tiburon, what a difference! and, the price rocked at only 400 bucks, I was lovin it.

Absolutely no problems after a year of, hard, very hard driving,

Go to the SVT performace(I think it was anyway) website and search. A guy there has them and likes them. It just requires more work. You may end up having to weld on the 02 sensor bung's. and they didn't line up real well, the resonators were crooked.
Yes, those are not cats, they are resonators, and he said they were kind of loud if I remember right, but other than the hardware not being included in the kit, he said quality was good. He spent about $60 I think in extra parts to make it all fit up, but still better than $1400 like the others.
He said no leaks and the design appeared to be a direct copy of the dynatech.
I'm planning on adding some myself, putting high flow cats and then custom tubing to make a much cheaper exhaust system.
He did a whole write up on the installation and tips.
