Talking Does anyone else have this setup?

Hey guys,

Im relativly new and have been browsing around alot these last few days just trying to learn as much as random stuff about my truck as possible. Anyways when I had my exhaust done I went for a cheaper alternative ( college student with no extra money) and have yet to read about anyone else just takin this approach.

I just found a shop here in town and had them remove the HUGE muffler and apply a "Y" just beyond the cats to ensure no warranty would be voided. ran 2 1/2" pipe into duals straight out the back with stainless steel rolled angled tips. Worked well and gave IMO a very deep throaty sound. Any opinions on this setup?

Matt

Sounds like an ok set up.
Only thing I might have done a little different is run a true dual set up with an X pipe about half way back.

Small world.... hello from the same town. There's another Murray/Madisonville guy on here as well.

I've run that on a couple of previous trucks. It sounded pretty good (a little loud for extended trips & towing) but lost some low end grunt.
