Exhaust for 07 Crew

Just bought a 07 crew with the 5.4ltr. Want an exhaust system to improve performance and mileage but don't want anything loud and annoying. I have heard the magnaflow cat-back is the way to go, but how loud is it? I am considering just replacing the muffler if all the cat-back systems are to loud. Anyones help would be appreciated. Thanks

Your probably gonna wanna look at the Magnaflow 16612 Single In/Single Out system. This should be slightly louder than stock. When you punch it, you know its there, but at cruise...is nice and quiet.

Scroll down and find the file for the F150. Should give you a good idea of what to expect.

Go with a Roush Legal system. I just ordered mine today and everyone that I have talked to has said it is nice and quiet when you want it to be, but with a nice rumble and throaty-ness when you get on it and no drone (you will get some drone with the Magnaflow).

if you want something that isnt too loud get the borla si/so... I had it on my old truck and it was not loud at all until you really floored it. I have the roush off road on mine now and it is pretty loud, and my buddy has the magnaflow on his truck and it is just a little quieter.
