Question True duals help

I was on the Troyer Performance site when I stumbled across the Magnaflow kit that is supposed to be better than any other catback "tested". Tested as key word. I am asking any person, including any Troyer representatives, if they have experience testing a true dual Bassani system with an x-pipe for the performance on a 1997 ford F-150. Without considering money, is there any way to compare the two?

Without considering money you say?

Sure, buy them both. Install one, have it (the truck) dyno'd then remove it and install the other and have it dyno'd. Finally, compare the results and see which one gave you better results.

in my belief there is no other better performance exhaust than the magnaflow system. although i prefer straights over anything, i lean more towards sound than performance.

Yes they have been tested and compared (not on a 97 when I was witness). Magnaflow showed more power across the band. Many of Mikes Lightning customers (myself included) switched to the Magnaflow, and several had the Bassani previoiuisly.

Is there any way to achieve the Bassani sound with a magnaflow muffler?

How much performance are we talking about, 2hp difference?
