I have a friend who has it on his Dodge truck and I think it sounds good. He thinks it's a little quiet for his taste though.

I just retired my old tired 40 series FM's and went w/ the 50 series Delta flow mufflers.I also installed a Bassani X pipe.My truck has a nice deep, rumble @ idle and w/ the X pipe it has a similar sound to the Mustang. At highway speeds there is no drone like you get w/ the 40's.Nice and quiet in the cab, except when you mash the gas pedal to the floor and then you get a nice roar that fills the cab.The one thing I noticed is how well my truck ran after the mufflers were installed.Maybe it was the X pipe, maybe the new mufflers,I really dont know, overall I am very pleased w/ the mufflers as far as sound and performance.Hope this helped.

I had a muffler shop replace the factory muffler on my '07 FX4 with a 50 series dual chamber. I really like the sound. No drone. Not too loud but it does have a nice rumble.

I may have that exact set up. I have the Flowmaster 50 DeltaFlow SI/DO with the exhaust exiting behind the rear wheels. It has a nice rumble on start up and then tones down some at idle. At highway speeds you hardly know it is there. On acceleration you can really make it rumble. I chose the Flowmaster 50 because of the nice sound even though it is not highly thought of in these forums.

I'm sure you'll like it, I had dual 50 series delta flows on my 00 XLT 4.6L and loved the sound, nice and mellow, deep sounding. You knew it was there at idle and light acceleration and it woke up nicely under hard acceleration and high rpm.
