Not sure what to get...

Hello everyone..im new to the forums. I have been looking into gettin a new intake for my truck. A 2005 5.4L F-150 lariat. I have heard manny different opinions. One of my friends says AEM, another says K&M, and from what i have seen here, AF1 seems to be good as well. Im just not exactly sure what to get so your opinions would be greatly appreciates! Thanks.

Well you're going to get several opinions on here as well. Several members run several different intakes and we are pretty much happy with what we have. I can't speak for the performance of the ones I don't have, I can only speak towards to what I do have. That is the AF1 with 3" tube and I am totally happy with it. Throttle response was immediate and very noticable. Soon I will be pairing it with my Xcal II & custom tunes and expect even more out of it.

thanks, as i said i was just hoping to gather as many opinions as possible, also i was wondering if there was a good site with sound clips i could listen to.

I think all the CAIs perform about the same. Just get the one you like the looks of.....

Got the K&N FIPK and I am very pleased. Noticed an immediate difference in throttle response and acceleration. My first mod, and one of the best!
