after market midpipe

i have a 91 lariat supercab 5.0l aod.
i'm looking to do a full exhaust. shortys, single 3" cat back side exhaust.
now i have those two components. is there a aftermarket midpipe i can bolt on to replace the cats or is that a custom piece i'll have to make and weld on?
thanks yall.
i'm new here and i used the search key but couldn't find anything on my year truck.
if any of yall are on fordvschevy.com i'm on there with the same handle so is my boy disney if anyone is farmiliar.

midway pipe is a midway pipe, only differences is material, aluminum vs stainless steel, thats up to you :thumb:

I'd stay away from the shorty's(especially equall length) personally. They can make it difficult to change out plugs.. Id go with the longtubes. I dont think you'll be able to find an x pipe that will fit up to short'ys and cat that close the engine and tranny. I could be wrong. You would have to weld on an an extra extension for the rest of the exhaust. You would have to take it to the welding shop for sure and make some adjustments... Longtubes, yes-you wouldn't have any prob bolting on this combo... Your talking about 3 inch pipe. Man thats a big pipe creating less back pressure that you're stock truck needs.You might want to stay with 2 and half inch. This set up may rob your horsepower and torque... If its not stock and you hava a built block, supercharged, or turoboed. Then go with the 3 inch. Just some helpful advice...chris

thanks, i'm just looking for a pipe to bolt up so i can eliminate the cats.
