Thumbs up Lightning style exhaust on both sides!!!??

Is it posible to do this have the lightning style exhaust come out on both sides of the bed? I can't find any pics of it and was wondering if anyone else has thought of it or done it. I am gonna get my exhaust dont next week and think this would be a real trick setup.

It is a possibility. But you need to keep in mind that the gas tank is on the drivers side and that could be a problem and be in the way. You know hot exhaust and explosive gasoline are not a great combination. But if there's a will?! there's a way!!! Let us know if you do it and how you did it.
Natty...

I always thought that a dual set of turndowns mostly hidden by the bed sides between the rear wheels and bumper like on the 70's model TA's would be wicked.

(Like the one on the left)

Dual lightning style would look great too IMO.

I should be going this week to the exhaust shop and will see what they say. This shop has done my lincoln mark VII, Trans Am, and alot of my friends cars. So he will tell me the truth about if it's a good idea or not. Quackrstackr I have a 80 trans am and love the look of the exhaust and it sounds awesome. We did hooker headers and flowmaster mufflers.

ive seen it on an 02 GMC sierra, the shop put in a large heat shield, moved the muffler up, and had it so the two outlets were facing the engine, then one outlet, turned into the inlet, made the orig inlet exit out the passenger side. the took the other outlet and snaked it around in a U the brought it infront of the gastank, then along the bed panel and out the back, it was a wierd set up, but it did work. the shop was Lou's custom exhaust, they are online and in NH and Mass. you could look them up and ask them how exactly they did it.
