Ariaid vs AF1

I have done a lot of reading from this forum, and it seems most ppl like their AF1 intakes. I've also read a lot about the dyno days. What I would like to find out is if anyone has #'s for the pre04 models on a 5.4 (2v).

my thought

personally i wouldnt use any intake that is aluminum or any type of a metal, they do help airflow but the idea is to get cool air through the intake, i have installed aluminum airaids on autos and aem which are both a pretty shinny metal. looks good but drive around the block one time and then try to put your hand on that pretty shinny intake itll hurt believe me. im sure that the air is also getting warmed up as it goes through the tubeing i would use a black composite material if i were you.
