SIDO or true duels?

I have a question on exhaust: Would you go true duels or SIDO? What would sound better? How would they differ?

Exhaust

I run the true duals on my 2000F-150.I cut the "Y",installed 2 high flow cats, into a Bassani X pipe, into 2 50 Delta flow FM's,the pipes are run out the back and dump in front of the rear bumper,no tips. This is an excellent setup for sound, performance and I believe I picked up a mile or two in fuel economy. The duals and the X pipe help balance the backpressure and scavange the exhaust. My truck runs and sound great,IMO,go w/ the dual setup.I hope this helped, good luck w/ your exhaust.

In my experience preference and price is the only realistic difference aside from manufacturer (Unless your doing headers too (longtubes only; ask BUILT54)). And GO FOR LOUD cause you'll want it to be louder after a while anyway.

Make sure you read as many of these forums as you can before you spend your dollars.

For mainly performance, I would probably stick with a SIDO, if you just want loud and good sound, you cant beat the way true duals sound.

True duals can actually be worse performance wise if not set up right.

It's all personal preference, and what is in your budget. I have had Mag SIDO on both my F150's and could not be happier. A guy I used to work with had true duals and they did sound sweet! I prefer a milder tone, but it still sounds like a V8. And when you couple an exhaust system with an open element cold air intake, it will sound even better!
