Has anyone tried this setup yet.I'm wondering how it would sound.I currently have this w/flows but am thinkin about switching.How loud do you think it would be?

ive got a friend with that setup on his '03 5.4. its loud, but nothing like the flows. its more of a clean rumble instead of an annoying roar

 

Hey Buckles,so in comparison to the flows do you think i should do it?I don't expect it to be too loud but don't want quiet.Does it have a nice sound?I guess if it was too quiet i could add 2 high flows.I like loud but want my low end back.

 

i think you should go for it, im about to replace my flow with a 14" maggie. its supposed to be the loudest. my friends truck sounds great. its a much cleaner rumble, like a truck should sound. GO FOR IT!

 

Kevin i would definately like to hear a sound clip if you get that done, also maybe some hp and tq info if you gain or lose, i have the 18" si/do but the true duels might something i upgrade to depending on how it turns out.

I don't have acces to a dyno but i can compare all of my 0-60 times and stuff.What would i need to do a sound clip?I can tell you right now that i will gain torque over the flows just not sure how much.If someone wants the flows after i switch you can have them.
