opinion on K&N Aircharger

I purchased the K&N Aircharger a couple of weeks ago. Me and a friend installed it along with dual exhaust flowmasters. When i went for 'the drive' i noticed the great sound and more throttle response, but idk about the more power.
I did some 0-60 times stock, and then with the mods, and came out with almost a 1 sec difference, as far as, being slower with the mods...does that make any sense?
I also read that the K&N's gather dust...
What should i do? sell it and get a AF1, or should i stay with the Aircharger?

Hi.

My guess is your dual flows. They are not known for their power and can actually reduce low-end grunt where you need it the most. Can you be more specific - pipe size, muffler model, config, etc ...

Your K&N isn't going to be weaker than stock as long as it didn't affect your MAF on your particlular truck...

The AF1, all else being equal, will be stonger just about everywhere ...

As for the dust thing - opinions on that are all over the map - I say just keep up the maintenance & you should be ok.

You can Search for more info, as well.

Cheers
