bodylift and intake

Today I started installing the body lift on my truck. Almost got it done in one day, too many interruptions. Tom we just have to do the bumpers...but I ran into a problem with the my AIRAID cold air intake... the body went up 3 the engine remained in place...how do i make the intake adjust? The only thing I can think of is get the poweraid thottle body spacer? anyone run into this same problem?

Damn that's a big truck. That sounds like the only way to do it with a TB spacer. I know my K&N said "THIS KIT NOT INTENDED FOR INSTALLATION ON TRUCKS WITH A BODYLIFT" lol. Do they even make a 3" TB spacer?

nahh the throttle body spacer installed only lifts the throttle up a little more than 1/4 of an inch not quite 1/2 inch... i think i'm going to cut the plastic tube in half then order some special flexible intake tubing and go from there...right now i have the heat shield off and the filter directly on the tube.

I'd modify the heat shield before I'd modify where the throttle body bolted onto the intake.

Anyone with pictures or information of their installed throttle body spacer of any brand please post... I need to get my heat shield back on. I'm either going to cut about 2-4 inches off the end of my plastic intake tube and put a longer and more flexible hump tubing or I'm going to order the $100 poweraid TBS.
