Need Some Help

Ive been doing some research and need yalls help. I wanted an exhaust for my 07 SCREW 5.4 and was wondering what you guys opinons were. I want some thing that gives it a noce low rumble but for the most part is quiet which I know some of you won;t agree with. HaHa I was thinking about the following ones:

1. Magnaflow SISO 24"
2. Bassani SISO
3. Gibson SISO
4. Corsa SISO

I think i'm kind of leaning toward the Bassani because I really don't want any drone what so ever because my friemd has flows and they drive me crazy sometimes. Thanks for yalls help.

Hi;

I've owned #1 & #3. Gibson was quieter, but of the three is also a chambered design - the others are straight through (not 100% sure on the Corsa, though).

Perhaps add Borla to that list. I think you'd be happy with any of them. For performance reasons (not sound), I'd leave Gibson off the list.

Go for stainless if you can swing it.

Good luck.

I would recommend saving some money and having the magnaflow 18" with a turndown installed. I have the 14" and it's quiet, but the 18" is a lot quieter. You can save about $200-300 by having a muffler shop weld in a just new muffler and turndown, rather than just clamping on a whole system. Plus I think the trucks look better with no tip showing.

Installed a Borla SISO cat-back a month or so ago and I love it.. I was looking for the same as you, a nice rumble, not necessarily wake the neighbors, but know it's there.. only took about an hour to install myself and most of that was getting the stock one off.. it sounds great and my highway mpg has gone up by 1.8. Most on here will recommend Magnaflow, but here's a vote for Borla
