Will intake off 5.4L fit 4.6L

Can anyone tell me if an AF1 3.5 intake off of a 04 F150 5.4L fit on a 06 F150 4.6L?

Nope - application-specific - hence the different part #'s.

And yet the 3" AFI intake will fit the 5.4
At least that seems to be what people are doing that don't want to have to tune using a 3.5" AFI, right?

No. same size tube, perhaps, but different fitment:

For 5.4 3V:

However, for the '03's and below - it's the same unit:
