Question Where does the intake go??

2003 / 5.4

Ok, I took the time to take out the "silencer". Thats done. Installed a K & N drop in filter. Flowmaster exaust installed. Reset the computer (unhooked battery for like 20 minutes)

Here is my question: Once the intake goes into the wheel well, where does it go? Can we modify the pipe? Possibly directing it to the front of the truck near the grill??? Anyone done this? Possible??

Thanks in advance.

Well, I'm going to research this a little further to see if I can increase the air flow at all. I was hoping someone has experimented with this before and was hoping for suggestions. It would be nice to have a "ram air" situation if possible as the gas mileage SUCKS.

If you want a ram air kit I have this one on my 03.
I have a K&N intake kit in the for sail section you could adapt to the box that comes with this kit.

Well I'm running 18 PSI through a blower so ya it's worth it for me but might not be for a N/A truck. It will give you cooler air from outside and you may see a small gain from it but that's up to you if it's worth the money.
You could custom make one for less!
