need it quieter

I have a 2006 f150 scab 4.6 and ive takin the exhaust off right at the y pipe and put a turn down on it, but its just a little to loud right now what else can i do to make it a little quieter.

buy a cheap muffler then attach the turn down to it...

Put the stock tailpipe back on - with or without some kind of muffler. Dumping under the cab like you did will make a racket inside the cab, a tailpipe gets the noise away from you.

Dump it after the cab or put a muffler on and dump it after the cab.
