question before ordering high flow cats

Ok, I'm gonna order my new cats today. My last post was in reguards to the stock exhust size.
I was told 2 1/2 inch.
Can anyone give me the part number that the've gone with?
According to the magna flow website, my 97', 5.4 liter takes catalytic convereter part number 94005.
Problem is thats for a 2 1/4 in. It looks like I should get no. 91006. It only lists it being for smaller engines like the ranger with the 4.0 liter.
Also, I've noticed that most are suggesting removing both cats and going with one (each side) high flow.
How loud is that gonna be with the flowmaster 40??
Thanks. I really gotta get some more input before I order these things.

High flow cats

If you can't find the high flows w/the 2.5" inlet,Troyer perf. has them.I removed my factory cats last month and had the high flows installed, wow what a difference. I also have the 40 series FM's and they sound awesome.yes its louder, but its also much deeper and has a nice rumble @ idle. With the X pipe I installed my truck rumbles like a Mustang @ idle. You won't be disappointed w/ the sound.Make sure you keep your rear O2 sensors in or you'll get a cel.The performance has increased at all speeds, you will like the sound and performance.Hope this helped, good luck w/ your exhaust.
