Props to Magnaflow and Troyer

So I bought an exhaust after I put tunes on the truck. I was pretty impressed with the performance gains, and thought it would be fun. Got the Lightning style cat-back system for my Screw 4X4. Project should've taken what , and hour or so? Threaded ( literally) the old exhaust out intact. New one wouldn't fit because it would end up too far back ( towards the tire). Had to contact both the Troyer gang and Magnaflow to get an extra part which to Magnaflow's surprise I had to modify. I'll be sending them some pics. today. I'm thinking I have some weird production issue exhaust that required me to make the mods. to get my new one installed. Both Troyer and Magnaflow were extremely helpful and professional in dealing with me. I'm not far from Magnaflow and had to go out to them. They're a pretty big, impressive operation. Thanks to both for helping me get on the road again. It's always been my opinion that you truly judge customer service by how a problem is handled and ultimately resolved. Anyone can give provide customer service when everything goes right first try. BTW - love the look and sound of my exhaust. Off the line response feels better too.

I installed my 16616, lighting style Magnaflow this past weekend and had a similar problem. The treads on the supplied threaded hanger were too short. With only one of the two washers, I could only get half of the nut on. I called and emailed them pictures yesterday. I hope they can get me fixed up also.

I have an 06 XLT Supercab, Flareside.

Put the second washer/nut inside the shackle. It's tight, but can be done. The threaded end of the bolt will just stick out of the other end of the shackle.
