I have a 1978 f150 four wheel drive with a 351 windsor in it. All the part stores except NAPA say that that motor did not come in that year truck. I cannot find headers for it because I cannot find a place that lists that motor with that year truck, therefore, not knowing what headers will fit. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Yeah, my old 1979 that I used to have had a modified in it, but I am stuck with this motor for now.

 

No, I was getting a lot of my bearings and things there, because it's a home town store, and when they would look my truck up on the computer for parts, it was the only place that showed it with that motor on the computer.

 

I am thinking that the 80 on up trucks that did come with the windsor would fit your chassis. There is a lot of room under there.

 

you shouldnt have any problems with putting headers on it. like he said, on that body style there was plenty of room for headers, its not like its a 05 and has a ton of extra wires and hoses on it. im pretty sure you can get away with probably any aftermarket headers. could get shorties, then go to a shop and have them custom bend the rest. just me
