well i had a 2003 KR f150 4x4 and my dad gave me his 2004 or 2005 Lariat F150 and he says i cant cut the muffler off this one so what is the LOUDEST muffler i can get. I want my truck so dang loud and MEAN! just how do you do this? I want it to make your heart throb and maybe even skip a beat.

 

I would have to say a glass pack if you just have to have a muffler but if you want it real loud put you some glass packs on and cut the two resinators off that will give it more flow and sound. your dad didint say nothin about them did he

 

Do you mean cut 2 of the 4 cats off or cut all of them off?

 

My shop wont cut all of them off cause its a big fine. and i have to use them cause it will make her feel bad and my dad would be pissed.

 

i would cut all four off and put two high flow cats on there and then put your glass packs on and just a hint the bigger the tips the louder it will be

 

well cut two off and put the glass packs on there i have true duals no muffler with 5in tips comin out at each corner of the bumper on mine and its still not loud enough for me so im fixin to cut two of my cats off. I live in mississippi and the muffler shop i go to will do it no problem

i just put a glass pack with a 3" pipe back to a turn down on my '04 5.4 lariat. it's loud but not loud enough. what i prefer is the 3 and a half inch pipe as far up as they can cut and a 4" turn down. that is really loud. or i agree with the other guys cut the cat's off.

IMCO extreme or cherry bomb extreme (same muffler since IMCO bought out cherry bomb recently) or the Flowmaster delta force race series (10 series) all are single chamber and f'ing loud

its a dang 2004 and when i posted the first message my dad just said i could have it and i couldnt cut the muffler off, and i didnt know what year it was. i knew it was a 04 or a 05 cause my old truck was a 03 but i wasnt sure. but i know my trucks very well for a dang "kid".
