Cheapest site to buy intakes?
well my maf sensor quit working, so i got a tune for my 90mm maf that i was going to use on my new engine, so im using a moto blue intake off a lightning, 4" aluminum pipe with an open element and a heat shield.

autoanything.com sells several intakes at great prices, with free shipping. Also look for a coupon code at the top of the page, generally they have some offer going on that will save you some extra $$. I got a SB intake from autoanything under $245 shipped.
Mark Mayes,
Here is a site for a promising enclosed intake that I think still has a $100 coupon code here: http://www.outlawpower.com/productdetail.php?sc=1486 You even have an option to request the traditional oiled cotton filter or their new NeverOil filter.
One more bit of information, according to a member that had the Volant dyno tested on his 2005, the Volant made less power and torque than stock system.

I would ask this in PM's but since i dont have 100 posts or have been registered for 90 days it would let me. Can you guys tell how you like the K&N and the Bruteforce? Does it sound good or is it loud? Did it make your exhaust sound better? Any noticeable increase in power? or any problems with them?
well I dont have the exhuast on yet. Im going with the magnaflow si/so 16612 system. The K&N made a difference to me, right of idle it seems to have better power. It pulls the best from about 3000-4000 rpm Ithink. It is louder than stock, when you get about 2500 or so it sounds like on hell of 4 barrell kicking in, it is fairly loud. But not intolerable. I think it was worth the money, IMO. Since I have no other intakes to compare to I cant tell you if its the best or loudest, but I sure am pleased with it so far. No problems with mine, went on pretty simple, instal took about an hour and a half.

I love the sound and performance of my K&N, it made immediate "feel" difference in excelleration not to mention a nice BWAAAAAH sound. I have Gibson exhaust which is one of the more mellow sounding exhaust's and I still love the growl. I have had Flow's in previous vehicles for over 11 years and I was done with overblown "noise" that made it impossible to carry on a conversation at high RPM's. I would strongly suggest going with the K&N series 63 unless you are in a state where it is illegal. It was very easy to install and according to K&N themselves it rates the highest of anything they makes as far as gains. It doesn't need tinkering with any computers and for $200 or so it is a great value.
