New exhaust, Flowmaster 40 Series

Just the other day I had SI/DO 40 Series Delta Flow installed on my 2001 Screw. I was a little unsure about the 40 Series but I am very pleased. The Delta Flow give a nice deep sound. The interior noise is minimal.

The 40 series have a great sound to them. Probaly the best sound of any exhaust. I had a original 40 series on the other truck, and already have an original 40 waiting for this truck.

Congrats on the new 40 series, I have the 50 series on my 2002 supercrew. Have you heard your truck beside any with the 50 series on them? I would like mine to be a little louder but if it's not that much of a difference then I will stick with what I have. How did you have them exit? The back or the sides?

I haven't heard a 50 series. I would be interested in hearing the original 40 series and see how they compare to the 40 series delta flow.

My Flow 40 SI/DO with 3 1/2" tips sounds great, even for an old "hot rodder" like me!

Congrats on the muffler. I love mine. My 3 1/2" tips exit to the side behind my rear wheels. I've also got a manual cut-out installed cause even with the 40 series I wanted just a little bit more and for the price ya can't go wrong. Hey andy-jr, if your just looking for a little bit more out of your 50 series, put on a manual cut-out, you'll love it

I currently have the 50 series on my truck but originally had the 40. I only had the 40 for about a week and then decided to change it. IMO there was just too much drone at highway speeds. It was horrible trying to have a conversation with a passenger cause it was so bad. The 50 Delta Flow has a nice tone to it, just right IMO.
