I guess these are the two best pictures I have right now of my tips. I obviously like the look of the exhaust out the back rather than near the wheels. AND YES I did get rid of the surround for the tailgate handle.

It's all what you like, mine exit behind the rear wheels. I like it like this because the sound seems to bounce off vehicles and buildings better when you go by. I'll take some pics tomorrow for you. Are you gettin aftermarket or custom done?

My personal opinion...

I've had a few different setups on trucks over the past few years...

My personal opinion, I don't like the way duals out the rear look. It's crammed looking to me, especially from the side, and rarely will the two tips be positioned at exactly the same relation to the rear bumper. (I'm OCD, trust me. lol) I think that single side exit looks cleaner and performs a little better. Sound, to me, is a wash on the two. (At least with the Magnaflow systems I've had.) I also didn't like having those hot dual tips right next to my hands when I was hooking up my receiver hitch lock, coupling my boat, and hooking up the trailer chains. I do like to see that dual plume of exhaust out the back when it's cold with duals back there though!

My choices are, in this order:
1. Single Side Exit, behind the wheel.
2. Dual Rear Exit, at the corners.
3. Dual Rear Exit, in the rear.

Here's mine out the corners. Its on an 02 but hope it helps. Its also an FX4. I personally like an angled look on a 4x4 and straight out or same side exit on a 4x2. Personal opinion. Good luck.

I know but it was covering up some dents that my father put in the tailgate. I just got a new tailgate so it was ripped off and now I have a perfectly dentless tailgate that doesn't look like a titan anymore

I have heard they do a good job but guess it depends who works there. Do my picks work?If so you can see my exhaust. I'm not sure if they work or how they look.
