thisis the one that exits in front of the rear tire right? I wouldnt worry about it being too loud. I had my magnaflow installed exiting like that, and it's not terribly loud. It actually sounds throaty

I've heard a few Gibson's and they aren't that loud at all, little mellower than the Magnaflows. Yes the Super Truck is the dual exit before the wheel, I looked at this before I decided on going with a custom setup.

Gibson is pretty quiet. Not too much more than stock.

I went with the Gibson dual sport, basically the same thing, SIDO, but it comes out behind the tire. I wanted that becuase if you want steps you can't use the super truck. I absolutely love my Gibson's, I have had Flow's on previous vehicles but I wanted a more mellow sound but a nice growl when I step on it. This gives me that and more!

I have nerf bars and this exaust clears just fine. It has a nice low rumble and doesn't seem too loud in the cab. I do have a couple pics in my gallery if you want to see it.

Too bad it's a chambered muffler. and I hope y'all are ordering the SS variant - the steel one rusts like no tomorrow.

Be advised that, like Fartmasters, Gibsons tend to have those silly baffles break loose and rattle.

You can buy the larger Maggies and be quiet while still preseving yer exhaust gas velocity, instead of impacting torque.

As per Jim Allen - best bang/buck = Maggie muffler (add tips if desired) = 80% of the benefit of a full catback for far less $$$.

Oh - almost forgot - yes I had a Gibson ( before I knew better) and yes it was quiet, and yes, a baffle weld broke loose
