Side exit exhaust
Side exit exhaust
I have an 87 f150 and have decided to put dual exhaust out the sides infront of the rear tire. does anyone have this set up with the older style truck?? any suggestions on tips or angling of exhaust.. thanks alot
My 93 has single passenger side before the tire, square to the body. i'll try to get a good picture of it. Are you thinking of dual out the same side or one out each side before the tire?

not sure what way to angle them out the sides.. maybe just buy and then check.. if they look bad.. ill take them back. and my truck has the sam exhaust as yours. i dont see why they did that? did ford cheap out on making the exhausts for these years??

Mine was behind the passenger tire stock until the factory muffler rusted out. Where it is now was where I had the exhaust shop put it. I wanted a close to stock look for the truck and kind of reminds me of the 70's fords that had them square to the body in that spot. If my truck had curvier body lines like the post 97 models i would have gone for the angled out the side for sure.
