help!!

help!!

had a dual exhaust put on my truck, went with the MAGNAFLOW 2.5in dual in/2.5in dual out . everythings ok! the muffler shop did an awesome job nothin but good to say about them. now for the problem! i am experiencing a droning noise in the cab at about 40-50 m.p.h and also at highway speeds! very noisy and anoiying! also this is under average aceleration! not wot! also the muffler is the model that has crossover biult inside of it. any suggestions would be great! thanks in advance!

Magnaflow droning? hmm... thats a new one, I'm a Flowmaster guy but I wont suggest Flowmaster for you because Flowmaster drones alot more. My only thought is is there a heat shield above the muffler?

no i dont think so! well i feel the same way! i thought the magnaflows were not to loud. do you think installing a crossover pipe would help?

The muffler alrerady has one built into it. I don't think another crossover pipe would help. Maybe a couple of resonators.

My flowmaster does the same thing.Also the jerks cut off my heat shield.Does anyone think putting one back on would help with the droning in the cab?
