Is it possible to buy a true dual exhaust kit for an 04 5.4L or would I have to have custom pipes bent up for me to acheive this kit?

You would have to have it made custom for your truck.

 

exhaust shop will do it price range $100 - $200

For a custom (true dual) set up expect to pay anywhere from $350 to $500.
I had my truck done for $399.True duals 2 Flowmasters and 2 stainless tips. straight out the back.

Did that $399 include the price of the mufflers, pipe and installation? Which series of flowmasters did you go with? Did you go with 2.5" Pipes? I had 40 series on my 5.0 mustang with an H-Pipe and that had a real nice sound to it and I'd like to mimic that style of sound. Real nice rumble at idle and when you get on it, it sounded sweet. But I dont want it to be obnoxiously loud or sound stupid.

you should call around your local exhaust shops, Prices will vary. I went with a magnaflow DIDO muffler it cost me around $90.
