Gibson Drone?

I'm pondering buying a gibson cat-back exhaust system for my 4.2L 98 truck, and I want something that sounds nice, but not enough to get the neighbor's calling the cops, or something that's going to give me a headache when I'm driving the 20 miles to school in the morning. Will a gibson cat-back system put an unbearable drone in the cab? TIA.

Gibson is know to be quieter than most other aftermarket exhuasts. I think even if you had it dumped, it still wouldnt be loud enought to annoy. I have a gibson set up on my truck and it is not nearly as loud as some of the magnaflow and flowmaster sets. Sounds good with the windows down, cannot hear it in the cab if they are up.

I've had the Gibson Swept-Side system on my truck for three years now, and you can only notice it when you really get on the gas. No drone at all while cruising.
