Different Single vs. Dual Question?

Hey everybody,

I know that the single out Magnaflow Catback is slightly better that the dual out as far as a little extra power is concerned. I may be splitting hairs here but my question is this.

I want the most I can get out of an exhaust upgrade (power wise) but really want duals angled out the corners. obviously need to do custom at a local shop. So if I stay with regular factory style bends in the pipes instead of mandrel bends (2 1/4" pipes), would it help bring the exhaust flow back down to something more equal to the SI/SO type of setup? Thus kind of giving me a closer result to the single out performance.

I'm gonna use a Magnaflow muffler and maybe I can accomplish the same through muffler selection?

Just thought I'd share my tendency to over think things and see if there would be any real, measurable, difference in doing it one way or the other......

Thanks for taking the time to offer you opinion....

Jeff
