Question for all please.

OK, I have been doing quite a lot of reading here about this. I am interested in changing my muffler only. Well, I see a number of folks doing this. I am for sure about 1 thing and that is going with a Magnaflow. The question is this, how do I know which part number to buy? I seen part # 11266 mentioned a couple of times but I dont know because I have seen other #s mentioned too. I just want a deeper rumble, nothing to rattle windows. Also, does the stocker just unbolt and drop out or do I just hack it on each side and put the new one in the missing gap? I assume the new muffler will attach to a hanger that already exists for the stocker? Please

Sorry for all the ?s
Thanks Ya'll

I'm not too good with the magnaflow mufflers ( Flowmaster guy ) But the smaller the part number the louder it will be, the 16646 ( i believe its called ) is the most prefered, and you will need to fabricate your own hangers, I have my stuff ready to do this to my truck with a Flowmaster soon, I have 1 universal Summit racing hanger ( installs by U clamp ) and a L bracket I will mount onto the stick muffler hanger shield & bolt it together, dynomax band clamps to attack muffler to midway pipe & tip ( doesn't require that the pipes be flanged to fit into eachother ) and still need a dump tip, but if you plan to run your system out the stock tip you will need some more piping ( 2.5" most likely if ur a 5.4L ) and figure out the distance between the stock tip and new muffler & get that much piping, Summit racing is a good place to get most of the parts, and your local autozone or napa is where you can get your install hardware & needed piping
