Magnaflow 16612 kit owners please help!
Hello,
Since this is my first post let me begin by saying hello to everyone and thank you for all the valuable information I have gotten so far!
I have done a ton of reasearch on exhaust and have decided on the Magnaflow SI/SO catback system for my truck.
Much to my dismay they do not make a kit for my specific year and model
I have a early model (pre may 2004) F150 XLT 4X4 4.6L with standard cab and short bed. The closest thing that comes to that is kit #16613, however it is designed for post may 2004 models. I talked to a Magnaflow rep and he said the 16613 kit WILL fit the early 04 model from the muffler back, it is the intermediate pipe which is different. An extra intermediate pipe is sent along with the # 16612 kit for those having an early model '04, and it won't be needed on those who install that kit on a late '04 model truck (it's the extra 24" pipe included in the kit) There never was a kit for the early 04 Reg cab/short bed and the Magnaflow rep said they couldn't sell me the intermediate pipe I needed seperately even if I purchased the #16613 kit as well.
So I am now at the mercy of someone who has that peice left over from thier install as it is the only way I can get it. Please look at my ad in the classified if you have one to spare!

True Blue, Did you ever get that pipe. I just installed the 16612 on my 06 and have the extra pipe. Let me know if you still need it. You can email me if you want.www.bigdfan@optonline.net

lol most of us that have installed the 16612 on newer trucks have the 24" pipe left over and im sure we all kept it and said wow what will i do with this .
