Talking stoopid loud!!

hey guys,
just finished installing my exhaust this weekend . got pacesetter long tubes, catco hiflo's, to dynomax race bullets, 3" true duals from the header all the way back over the ax. it is stupid loud! ive been to richmond, and thats the only thing i can compare it to, straight off the track. now, need some expert advice, i want to tone it down a bit and keep it simple. im looking at the dynomax ultraflow X muff, becuase it could quiet things down, and i like the idea of the internal x-pipe, and its an easy install becuase it comes 3" dual in and out... anyone heard this muff? i have tubing to do an H pipe, so that along with some other mufflers are an option. just looking for an opinion before i go buying more parts. looking for a strong muscle truck sound that wont attract heat all the time. any ideers?

hey matt i found this

http://media.putfile.com/Pacesetter-...DIDO-Magnaflow

sound comparable to yours? mines a little louder than that right now, but that is what im going for. sweet ill go with the dido muff and try the h-pipe. if i dont like it ill go X.

patriot, yes i love them. every ive talked to that has them does too. plan on a good weekend to get 'em in. on my '02 i had to pull the front wheels and inner fenders, as well as the starter. makes it sooo much easier. perfect fit, killer sound!!! the coating they put on 'em is what makes 'em cheaper, but headers arent headers unless they're rusty! lol. i just dont care.

Edit:

go back to 2.5" to tone it down, and you will probably like having some of your torque back. I always love seeing someone else using bullets. They sound good and are cheap!

hawk- i could go up there. didn't know it has the hang out. lol. im in and out of there enough... i just have to finish up the tail pipes and tips.

ws6- i cant quite remeber the exact #. i think it was just under 700, headers, cats and all. but i bought EVERYTHING i could possible need to include some tools, and ended up w/ some extra stuff.

i have been doing a little more reading on the whole x vs. h thingy... h pipe for torque and rumble, x for hp and ***** loud high flow. sound right? i like the way matts sound, but mines... well... too loud. think the H will do me better in toning things down and maybe get me back some of the torque i am loosing due to the 3" screamers? id like to keep my bullets, cause there just so damn sweet, and paid for .
