Ok so I have been doing tons of searches for a cold air intake for my 06 F150 with the 4.6L and I cant seem to find one except an AIRAID intake. Well come to find out FORD changed the MAF sensor on the 06, it is now a part of the intake, ie all one piece, cannot be removed from the housing, so my question is does anyone else have this problem and found a work around for this or am I stuck with the airaid.

sooo um to anyone who read my above post and laugh really hard..... your welcome heh. Aparently I misunderstood what someone was telling me about the new maf sensor on the 06 4.6, i just went and pulled my intake completely apart and felt really stupid.....

Don't be too upset with your problem concerning the MAF on your 2006. Ford did us one better on 2007 models by moving the location of the throttle body by 45°!

In other words, you can bet that very few manufacturers will be developing intake kits for the 2006 4.6L F150. If they do, it will be a one year only application.

If you are still looking for a intake for your 4.6L check the link in my signiture. I am selling that K&N 77 series intake since it won't fit my new truck. It's in new condition and includes the MAF sensor already installed. All you have to do is plug yours into it and your ready. Installation time should be cut in 1/2 easily with my kit.

 

K&N has come out with two intake kits for the 06 4.6! But none of them are cold air.
