Magnaflow or SLP???

What would you guys/gals go with? Comparable price and they're both nice systems. I just can't figure it out. I've heard the Magnaflow's but the SLP's are a ghost to me. Never heard them. I'm thinking either the Magnaflow #16616 Lightning style exit or the SLP Loud Mouth II same as the magnaflow as far as the Lightning style. Any input would be great.

Never heard of SLP. I'd go with Magnaflow. You'll quickly notice the performance difference when you install it!

Cool. Thanks for the input. The SLP kit looks really nice. I've been thinking about Magnaflow for a while. So that's what I'm thinking.

Well I have First hand experience with the SLP products. I had the Loud Mouth 2 kit on my Mach 1, and absolutely loved the way it sounded! Loud and agressive sounding at WOT, and deep and melow inside the cab while crusing, got compliments on it all the time. Also the fit and finish was top notch, and no one makes a better looking tip (IMO). I don't have experience with any other kits except for Flowmaster (didn't like the drone inside the car), but I'm planning on getting the SLP dual side exit kit for my 07 F150 as well.

SLP has been around a long time and so has the loud mouth. They are well known in the F-body community. SLP converted the Trans Ams into Firehawks for GM. Quality is top notch
I don`t know how you guys put up with the drone of the Magnaflow. It`s especially annoying on long trips.
I tried two different magnaflow mufflers on the wifes Tahoe. First the 15" I think then the supposedly quieter 18" they both sucked.
My Firehawk sounded ok with Magnaflow, the muffler did rust out after 5 years thou.
Never again

Thanks for the input. I have a straight pipe right now and just getting ideas for my new system once I get it. It's a hard decision. The straight pipe is cool but I sound like a low-rider at times. Lately I've been hearing bad things about Magnaflow on here and elsewhere. The SLP kit might get the go ahead. Once again. Thanks for the input.

I sold my 04 Mach1 for an 07 F150 as well. I had flows on my mach and switched to borla stingers. Great move. Now for the truck I am stuck between borla with dumps or SLP. I would love to hear an SLP soundclip on an F150.
