Check Engine

I have a 2004 F-150. I have an Edge programmer along with a K&N CAI system. Sometimes my check engine light comes on and and my truck does'nt let me open up the throttle. I read the problem through the programmer and it says "throttle acuator system - limited response" If I reprogram it, it works fine for a month or so (truck does'nt get driven much) then comes back on. It started doing this a while after my intake was installed. I was wondering if anybody was having the same problem or know what is wrong and how to fix it. Thanks.

Your truck is running lean and the Edge can not over ride the PCM's control.
A large percent of the 04's had a lean condition straight from the factory and by adding the high flow intake you have enhanced this condition. The only thing that will resolve this issue if you continue to run the air system is custom tuning, like a custom tuned Xcal2.

Just for kicks, try taking the battery loose for a few minutes and see if that fixes it..... Clean your MAF sensor while you're at it, and check for vacuum leaks.
