How much louder?

I had dual flowmaster 40 delta flows installed on my true dual system. It does sound nice, but has a weird drone at low rpms. Kinda sounds like the v10 with an exhaust. Its hard to explain.

How much louder are original 40 series over the delta flow version? I have the old original 40's that i chopped off my old truck sitting in my garage. Im thinking about having them put on instead. Will i see an increase in loudness and change in sound overall?

Yup, I agree, the reason for delta's was lower interior resonance, with the original's, more sound inside/outside. I haven't heard a delta flow on a truck, but think I know the v-10 reference you mean, and yes, the originals will fix that.

Well I ordered my exhaust, I got the Cherry Bomb Extreme SI/DO “A.K.A IMCO Extreme” & two 22” X 4” stainless steel tips from Ebay for 100 bucks. Now, I just gotta get time to go the exhaust shop. Can’t wait! Sure hope it's loud enough to cover up my mud tire hum!!

HOLY CRAPMAN!!! the sound is awsome at idle & WOT. This will get me in trouble!! And no more tire roar either. It has some minor poping & cracking when I let off the throttle. But that is a plus in my book. Thank you Cherry Bomb!!!! She sounds like a truck now
