muffler size question

k this should be my last question lol, i'm about to buy a Flowmaster Super 40, but I'm wondering which size now, I can get a 5x10x13 overall 19" really cheap, though that seems incredably small, I plan to dump it ( or turn down tip ) and am looking for a deep loud sound, not all crackly and alot of popping, so will the size differ the sound by much? I heard shorter length = louder & longer = quieter. Should I get a larger muffler? or will the 5x10x13 be ok? ( si/so btw )

btw engine is a 5.4L

& btw again lol, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FLOWM...rdZ1QQtcZphoto theres the link

it says the length is 13"s that sounds kinda short, or will it be much louder?

ahh nevermind lol, i just checked out Flowmasters site, the Super 40 is only available in 5x10x13 so what the hell i'll just get a 2.5" offset inlet & centered outlet & i'll be good.
