Am I right? Is the muffler included in kit #16612 (and similar) the 12259?

 

I'm not a Magnaflow Rep but have the 16612 installed which comes included with the muffler.

 

Thanx for the reply dude. But what I'm actually trying to pinpoint is the model number of the muffler that is included with kit#16612. I'm pretty sure it is the 12259 but looking for confirmation.

 

I need the model # for the muffler in the 16614 kit. I ordered the kit but it's on backorder until the end of Feb and I'm sure that I'm going to cancel the order. I'm thinking about just getting the muffler and having a guy I know at a shop here custom fit some pipes. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Yes this is the correct #12259 for the universal muffler which is like the one in kit # 16612

 

I checked our inventory for Kit # 16614 and we have those in stock. I actually have 53 to be exact. You can purchase them thru another source if your guy is saying there are on back order. Just make sure that you have the correct Cab and bed combo. Some of these systems wont work with some OEM Hitches and if you do purchase there may be some Modification Required.

 

When you say "we", do you mean Magnaflow, or performancepeddler? I was under the impression that we couldn't order directly from Magnaflow. I was just concerned because I wasn't sure if they had already charged my credit card yet or not. If not, then I will go ahead and cancel the order and go through you guys. With the discount code and $ off the price, it will be kind of hard to do this then turn around and pay full price if the new source doesn't offer the same discount. Anyways, I'll give them a call tomorrow. Thanks.

 

I think what you're looking for is muffler #14288 in polished SS or #12288 in satin SS. Maybe MagnaflowRep can confirm but I'm pretty sure. They are all 5x8x18" oval mufflers. Check their website under universal mufflers.

Well, I got an email from performancepeddler.com and they shipped my package out today so I'm straight. It's due in here on tues so about a week from order time is correct. Thanks for all of your help.

 

Does anyone know if places like performancepeddler or hottexhaust ship to Canada? I would imagine they do but there is probably customs charges etc... Would anyone know if there is a discount distributor in Canada for Magnaflow ?? Manitoba in particular?? Magnaflow rep know??

 

They day after I ordered my kit(16614) I called to check the status of my shipment. The guy on the phone told me that my kit was on backorder until the end of Feb, BUT he had a guy that he uses in Canada that was going to be in on Fri and he might could get one from him. So yes. Call Dan at PP at 1-800-470-1443 and he should be able to get you in the right direction.

 

Well when I say me I mean "MAGNAFLOW" and you are right we "MAGNAFLOW" dont sell direct. But you can use another source to purchase a system doesnt have to be Performance Peddler. Use http://www.hottexhaust.com
