Unhappy New Exhaust

Looking to add catback exhaust on my 05 Lariat Supercrew w tow package. Leaning towards a Flowmaster but cant decide on a 40 or 50. Leaning also towards a si/do in front of the wheels. Im looking for a mid volume sound that wont wake neighbors but will let me know I spent some money on a system. Inside noise level is important related to hearing people on a cell phone.

Any point in getting a K/N airfilter SYSTEM instead of just a K/N stock replacement filter to go with the new exhaust?

Any help from the seniors/juniors or Flowmaster customers would be appreciated.

personally i would go with the 40, but if noise is an issue, get the 50. it will still rumble when you take off but the cab drone will be a little quieter.

I love the sound of Flowmaster, but, if your going to be putting the tow pkg to work, go with Magnaflow. Maggie will gain you some power while Flowmaster will do the opposite probably.

Gibson side swept here. No cabin drone, but not too much louder than stock except for full throttle. Very happy.

I had the same dilema. I didn't know which way to go. I finally went with Magnaflow and have been really happy. Here's on pic. I have more in my gallery. I went with complete stainless steel all the way!
