Water dripping from my exhaust???

Ok, this may be a total NOOB question, but why does water drip from my exhaust when my truck is running? It seems to be coming from about halfway down the exhaust and out of the tailpipe. That can't be good on my exhaust pipes.
I'd like to put a new exhaust on my truck, but I'd like to figure out what's going on with this. I have a K&N CAI and a 5.4L V8, if that helps.

Anyone have any ideas/clues?

Thanks in advance.

Condensation.
Think of a cold beer in a mug....only reversed. Hot exhaust combined with the cooler external air temps.

Budda,
Thanks for the reply.

You're description makes perfect sense. It just seems to me that all that water can't be good for the pipes. I guess that's why they make replacement pipes, huh? haha

thats normal. the cats are doing there job making water vapor. my 97 has the original muffler. it has a small weep hole at the back for the water to escape.
