Flowmaster or Magnaflow Muffler Only

Guys I know its been asked 1million plus times but I still can decide on which exhaust. Now keep in mind I will only be replacing the muffler only(no tips, nothing) The sound I am looking for is just slightly louder than stock. And I dont want the drone becuase this truck is my daily driver. Ive narrowed it down between the Magnaflow or Flowmaster 50 or 70 series. Does anybody have sound clips of this exact setup? And what are you guys thoughts on which I should go with?

The flowmaster 50 series is very quiet in the cab in my opinion....and it gives the truck a bit more aggresive sound on the outside over the stock muffler. For what you want that would be a good choice. However, i'm not as familiar with how the magnaflow sounds, but I hear they have little cabin drone, especially if you get one of the longer ones.

It all depends on a multitude of factors, but if you just want a little noise under accel then use the flow 70 series. The 50 series makes a little idle rumble and at WOT makes a pretty well known presence.

If you want proven performance gains - Magnaflow. I also picked up about 1.5MPG with mine. Low, deep rumble when idling and normal crusing. It really wakes up when you get on it.

If you want proven performance losses - Flowmaster. I had dual Flows on my last truck. They sounded great for a while, but it gets old not being able to hear who's on the phone because of the drone. I didn't see any increase in performance, throttle response, MPG with the Flows.

Hivoltage, I just recently installed magnaflow muffler only---sounds great. Nice rumble at idle and cruise, but growls when you get on it. Too early to tell if any mpg improvement yet. I think I have increased hp, but that could be th muffler talking.
I will try to get you the part# tomorrow.

I've got just the Magnaflow muffler......sounds great. I had the 5x8x24" si/so w/ stock tailpipe and it was a little too quiet. I switched to a 5x8x18" si/do dumped and WOW!!! It might be a little to loud but it's what I wanted.

Found out magnaflow part #. 4inch by 9inch, 11226, satin stainless. I kept the stock tailpipe, si/so. This is exactly the sound that I wanted. I will attempt to add pics and sound clicks of my truck soon. Hope this helps.

I just put the 50 series FM DF on my truck and it sounds great at idle with a nice rumble. At 65-70 mph, you can tell its there but its not really that loud at all in the cab. I was wanting something a little louder but its over all pretty quiet.

WVU 150 by any chance do you have a sound clip yet? Im leaning towards the Magnaflow but still not sure yet. There are alot of flowmaster dealers and not alot of Magnaflow dealers around here.
