It is time for me to purchase an exhaust kit for my 2004 F150 SCrew, I have heard great things about the Magnaflow kits any suggestions are welcomed...

What Magnaflow Part #??? I forgot to ask what part number I should be looking for. On the magnaflow website there are about 20 different options listed. I have seen posts on here claiming gains of 9hp+ so that is the kit I want to run.

its not that hard, but try searching . i just wrote a big thing about true duals in the thread below this one.

 

I got mine done at a local shop for $240, not including the tips. All he had was cheap chrome. I wanted stainless. The only dyno charts I've seen have been from Mag. 14HP & 23 TQ. I also picked up 1.5 MPG. I only did it for the sound, so any mileage gains I have are great.

 

I just had a custom shop put a flowmaster 40 SI/DO on my 2001 $325 out the door. rear exit with ss tips wasnt a kit though he made the pipes there as he went. sounds better in the cab than it does out side to be honest I had a friend take off from the parking lot at work so I could here how it sounded and was kinda disapointed but yet I didnt want real load anyway..

since this is a suggestion thread I'm a flow guy,

 

It depends on when the truck was made. I just installed a Magnaflow si/so 16612 on my 05 screw. The box it came in contained 2 different length pipes to start with, one for the 04-1/2 and another for the 05 and up. Figure out what you want single or duel then call a Magnaflow or a rep to lead you in the right direction.

Stay away from flowmaster is you want to gain power from it. Flowmaster is the worst flowing muffler you can get. In fact, all chambered mufflers suck. Just go with magnaflow and you'll be happy.
