i am debating on what muffler to get on my 02 dakota with a 4.6. it has true duals that are straight piped. i love it, but it is too raspy and pops too much at high rpms. i am looking for sound clips of 4.6s with flowmaster 40s, or super 40s, or magnaflow. i want to keep it as loud as possible but lose the popping and raspy sound at high rpm. please post clips of your exhaust! thanks in advance

I've got a true dual system with an X-pipe running 2 SISO flowmaster 40s. I am running the 5.4 so it'd sound a little different on yours. Also, most exhausts will pop when revved in park or neutral, mine does a little, but never while i'm actually driving it.
