Flowmaster 70 series vs. Magnaflow 12368 which is quieter?

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a really quiet exhaust that I can live with everyday. Which muffler would be quieter with 2.5" piping? The 70 series or the Magnaflow 12368? I've provided links to both.

The Magnaflow is 2" longer but the Flowmaster is 2" wider. Any help appreciated.

I just said I would like a quiet exhaust. Magnaflow probably gets my vote seeing how most people are partial to that on this forum.

yeah I would go Magnaflow. You dont want it too quiet like stock, but you dont want it roaring and waking people up at night and giving highway drone headaches i'm guessing. I can understad that, Magnaflow would be the way to go

Go Magnaflow

Hey all, I am new to the forum. Hope this helps. My dad went with a Flowmaster on his '06. I wanted something a little deeper and mellower. Magnaflow fit the bill perfectly! It is low and barely noticable at idle but has a nice sound around town and on the highway.

I ended up with the Magnaflow and an Imco resonator. Sounds nice and deep and it's relatively quiet.

Thanks for the replies.
