Better mpgs with a new exhaust?

Just wondering what everyone's experience is. I have an 03 Ex, 4.6l. Added the AF1 and Xcal2 from Troyer. Wondering if a highflow exhaust like the Magnaflow would work with the AF1 to improve air flow to the point that hp or mpg's would improve, and by what amount?

thanks for your thoughts.

Yea they will help improve HP. However its not a large gain.. Nothing that great. The exhaust will mainly just give you the sound your looking for.

As for MPG i have not seen an increase on any of my last 3 trucks i put an intake/exhaust on. There may have possibly been .5mpg incease at most but nothing that will save you alot of money.

I will second that, not a huge gain, but noticed. The JBA I have actually made me take notice, the sound was most important and JBA had it, one of the best mod's I've done.

hmmmm.....interesting. i wonder why some guys mpg stay status quo or actually see a slight increase. i do tend to let my truck warm up for quite a long time in the morning, which hurts my mpg reading.
